Business Requirement / Issue: Email address for every employer and insured. During the past year it has become increasingly important to contact employers and insured's via email to notify them about proof of coverage compliance issues.

Requester's Proposed Resolution: Change DN0301 to a mandatory field.

Upon initial analysis, the EDI Systems Committee has advised that this IRR is not necessary since the Element Requirement Table entry for DN0301 already supports a mandatory reporting requirement (see attached). Subsequently, this IRR has been withdrawn by the requester.
