Business Requirement / Issue: Michigan WCA needs the amount of payments the employee is receiving under a self-insurance plan, wage continuation plan, disability insurance policy provided by the employer; pension or retirement plan in order to calculate the amount of weekly compensation benefits to be coordinated (adjustment and/or credit to weekly compensation rate) per rule MCL 418.354

Final Proposed Resolution: Add a new data element (DNxxx – WEEKLY INCOME AMOUNT FOR OFFSET) to the ACR segment.

Voting for IRR CLM801 completed on Thursday, April 20, 2017. The proposed resolution to add a new data element (DNXXXX - WEEKLY INCOME AMOUNT FOR OFFSET) to the ACR segment was approved along with the implementation timeline.

A total of 34 responses were received consisting of 28 Yes votes, 0 No votes and 6 Abstentions. Per the requirements of the IRR process, a two-thirds majority is needed for an IRR to be considered approved. The outcome of this vote exceeded the two-thirds requirement with 100% in favor of the proposed resolution.
