Typo in data dictionary on Initial RTW with Same Employer Indicator currently on page 6.45, DN00405 instead of DN0405.

DN0206 Employee Security ID on page 6.34 contains a list of Employee ID's in the definition as a reference in parenthesis.   "Employee Individual Taxpayer Identification Number - DN0437" is missing from the list.

DN0270 Employee ID Type Qualifier, "Identification" is misspelled under the "T" code.

DN0281 INITIAL DATE EMPLOYER HAD KNOWLEDGE OF DATE OF DISABILITY - definition says - The date the employer was notified or became aware of the initial or subsequent period of the employee’s work-related disability/incapacity.

"Or Subsequent" shown here in bold should be removed from this definition.

DN0281 - strike out the wording in the definition "or sebsequent".  This DN was renamed in R3.1 to only apply to the Initial Date.  We have a new DN for the Current Date (or sebsequent date) so the wording doesn't belong in DN0281 anymore.  Also, the DP Rule clarifies that it is when Empr knew of IDDB, so that wouldn’t apply to a subsequent period of disability.

Definition: The date the employer was notified or became aware of the initial or subsequent period of the employee’s work-related disability/incapacity.

DP Rule: This date may be equal to or greater than Date Employer Had Knowledge of the Injury (DN0040). This date is used to reflect when the employer was aware of the Initial Date Disability Began (DN0056).

DN0097 needs a definition change. We have allowed the Dependents in R3.1 be listed for either Death or Perm Total claims. The definition of DN0097 was not modified to include Permanent Total.  This was missed in the R3.1 guide originally and it is well understood the intent of the Dependents segment.

Current definition:

Definition: The code identifying the relationship of the qualified dependent(s)/payee(s) to the deceased employee.

Update to this definition:

The code identifying the relationship of the qualified dependent(s)/payee(s) to the permanently and totally disabled or deceased employee.

For the first two bullets below, 189 and 224 should be replaced with 406 & 407 respectively.

The most recent date on which:

●● The employee actually returned to work, or was released to return to

work, as identified by the Return to Work Type Code (DN0189), OR

●● Physical restrictions changed as reported with the Physical Restrictions

Indicator (DN0224), OR

●● Any change occurs to the Latest RTW with Same Employer Indicator

(DN0408), OR

●● Any combination of changes to the Latest RTW Type Code (DN0406),

Latest RTW Physical Restrictions Indicator (DN0407), and/or Latest RTW

with Same Employer (DN0408)..

Page 6.54, MTC AC DP Rule: change the highlighted word "by" to "from".

DP Rule: A previous AQ or AU must have been accepted. An AC will not include

the Benefit variable segment. An AC shall not be accepted if a previous AP, EP,

CD, PY (for 0xx or 5xx), IP, or VE transaction was accepted by the current claim

administrator. See Section 4 Acquired Claims Processing Rules. The AC will take

the place of an SX when the current claim administrator has not paid any indemnity

benefits. Jurisdictions can require a FN Final or periodic after the AC.
